Health Sciences Programs - Bachelor of Science
The BS in Health Sciences is designed to provide the academic knowledge and professional skills to allow students to move directly into a range of employment opportunities within the health field and/or continue their education in discipline-specific programs. Many health-related professions can be entered directly with a baccalaureate degree. The BS in Health Sciences includes three distinct concentrations:
Bachelor of Science - Healthy Lifestyles Coaching
Health Sciences offers a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree with a concentration in Healthy Lifestyles Coaching that will prepare students for careers in lifestyle intervention. Lifestyle intervention is an evidence-based, cost effective, low risk approach to the prevention, risk reduction, and management of chronic diseases such as type-2 diabetes, heart disease, hypertension, obesity, stress, and others.
